Finding Value In The Little Known Games

Winners are picked based upon finding value – the difference between the projected performance of the teams and the actual pointspread or moneyline. Not all the sexy games that are on National T.V. each week are going to have value. Sometimes the games with the best value are going to be hidden gems buried deep below the average bettors eye and awareness. These games are often found in college sports especially college football.

There are so many college football games each week that the best value could be found in the little unknown teams and matchups. On the other hand the top games of the week which get the most media attention often do not present valuable wagering opportunities because of all the added consideration that linesmakers have paid to these events.

You cant afford to avoid these little known games – especially in college sports. You must follow the value regardless of how sexy or unappealing the game may look in the standings. Never judge a matchup based on its media exposure. In other words just because a game is on T.V. does not mean that you have to wager on it.

Taking games that only catch national attention is going to seriously limit your opportunities for success. A game is a game is a game. Dont be afraid to win and expand your horizons. If you look for value everywhere you have a much better chance of finding it.
